November 21, 2025 marked the end of the first edition of the mentoring program, organized by LABEX ARCANE and the CBH Doctoral School in partnership with REVEALIS. Throughout the year, ten doctoral students in chemistry, biology, or health from the University of Grenoble Alpes joined the program and benefited from the support of a mentor.
Mentoring is based on an interpersonal relationship of guidance and support founded on mutual learning. Its goal is to promote the autonomy and development of the mentee by setting objectives that evolve and adapt to each person's specific needs. Within the mentor/mentee pairing, sharing and building a relationship combines knowledge transfer, kindness, and trust.
This half-day meeting was an opportunity to conclude this wonderful year, with the following program:
Discussions between participants about their experiences and impressions of the program
A round table with industry representatives: Melissa Finocchio (Deepull), Christophe Aulard (bioMérieux), Benoit Hilbert (Air Liquide), and Jacques-Aurélien Sergent (Solvay)
A conclusion and a moment of conviviality
A big thank you to the 20 mentors and mentees for their involvement and enthusiasm, which greatly contributed to the success of this first edition. And a big thank you to Paola Gardellin, program coordinator, who supervised and supported them throughout the year.
