"The ED CSV 2024 doctoral school's scientific day took place on June 10, 2024 at the MACI on the Saint Martin d'Hères campus. The event brought together 150 people to hear presentations by second-year PhD students. They presented their thesis project either as an oral presentation followed by questions, or as poster.

The aim of the day was to encourage meetings between students, researchers and scientists from the private sector. One of the highlights was Gaëlle Saint-Auret's presentation of her start-up Genel, which captured the attention and curiosity of the audience. Thanks to the financial support of the CBH graduate school, the audience was more diversified, with some twenty Masters students present throughout the day.

The day was a success, both scientifically and in human terms. We received a lot of positive feedback on the organization. This year we left a long poster break to allow participants to have time to exchange ideas, and we think this was much appreciated. The financial support from the CBH graduate school enabled us to organize an event that best represented our ED and to make it a key meeting place for its members or those who wanted to find out more about it."
