Title of my thesis project: Multi-scale impact of epigenetic editing in plants: from chromatin dynamics to cell fate.

Abstract: We will develop new tools to accurately manipulate epigenetic marks in plants to understand their role in the adaptation to the environment.

"With the dual degree master's program focusing on plant biology from UGA-Grenoble and UniMi-Milan, my passion for plant development thrived, especially after studying agronomy for five years. The intricacies of epigenetic regulation in plants captivated me, especially regarding histone marks' elusive role in gene expression. Eager to unravel this mystery, I am determined to develop innovative tools in my host laboratory for precise manipulation of histone marks in Arabidopsis plants. By deciphering each mark's exact role, this project promises to reshape plant development and shed light on epigenetic mechanisms across organisms. Positioned within the CBH Graduate School, my interdisciplinary project merges biology, technology, and innovation, poised to inspire advancements in related research domains. It aligns perfectly with my goal to delve into epigenetic research and teaching post-thesis."
