Summer School 2025: Reducing the carbon footprint of research
From June 23 to 27, 2025, the CBH Graduate School, in partnership with the DefiCO2 research consortium, welcomed 18 master and PhD students of 14 different nationalities to the Grenoble campus to discuss and imagine ways of reducing the carbon footprint of research.
The program included visits, presentations, meetings with scientists from the Université Grenoble Alpes and from a variety of backgrounds, and above all group workshops to build an action plan to reduce a laboratory's carbon footprint.
The week ended with students presenting their group work, and discussing possible courses of action and improvements. We congratulate them on their commitment and the quality of their work, which reflects the richness of the week's discussions and reflections.
