Thesis: Skin CarcinOmics: Omics and AI approaches to improve treatment outcomes in skin carcinoma
Abstract: Decipher the molecular and pathway signatures that drive treatment responses and resistance in skin carcinoma using a precision medicine approach

"My name is Elise and I’m a first-year PhD student specialising in skin oncology. I have a Master's degree in Cellular and Tissue Engineering, which I obtained in 2022, and I worked as a cell biology and skin engineering engineer for two and a half years before starting my PhD. I developed complex 3D reconstructed skins that serve as physiological models for modelling skin diseases and cancers, and for identifying dysregulated molecular pathways.

My background naturally led me to focus on skin carcinomas, with the aim of improving treatment resistance and predicting treatment efficacy using omics technologies.

I chose EUR CBS for its strong interdisciplinary network and high-quality research environment. After my PhD, I plan to pursue a career as an associate professor."
