Abstract : Synthesis and anti-microbial characterisation of de novo peptides to develop a bactericidal molecule and a biological sensor for bacterial detection.
"I am a curious person who likes to understand life around us, so I decided early on to study chemistry and joined CPE Lyon, a graduate school of chemistry and process engineering, where I specialised in organic chemistry. During my studies, I combined my interest in chemistry of life and travelling by taking a gap year to work at Origenis, a drug discovery company, in Munich, Germany. I then pursue my studies with an international exchange at the University College of London, where I worked on a new type of conjugation for the antibody-drug conjugate technology under the supervision of Professor J.R. Baker. I am motivated by the development of new therapeutic and diagnostic options and the impact they can have on human health. My project, which combines chemistry, biology and technology for health, was a perfect fit for the CBH Graduate School. After completing my PhD, I would like to work in health research".
