"On February 16 2024, the Grenoble Institut des Neurosciences hosted the first GIN PhDay. The day opened with a welcome breakfast. The institute's director, Emmanuel Barbier, opened the day by sharing his vision of the PhD experience highlighting the importance of sharing both scientific and human experiences between PhD students.

The rest of the morning was devoted to scientific exchanges around a dozen posters presented by GIN doctoral students, as well as by doctoral students from Lyon and Grenoble laboratories invited for the occasion.

Participants were invited to discover a wide range of neuroscience topics and research techniques. Lunch provided an opportunity to continue discussions and kick off a fun-filled afternoon, during which doctoral students competed in laser games, general knowledge quizzes and blind tests, all in good spirits.
