"On the 8th and 9th June 2026, PhD students and postdocs from Laboratoire de Psychologie et NeuroCognition (LPNC) and Laboratoire Interuniversitaire de Psychologie (LIP/PC2S) hosted the seventh edition of the Rencontres Jeunes Chercheurs.

The aim of the event is to share scientific knowledge about cognitive science and promote networking for early career researchers from multiple laboratories, research fields and countries.
Over the course of the two days, a variety of content was organised:

• Fourteen speakers presented their work in five symposiums, with topics related to psychology and cognitive science (cognitive representations, minorities and well-being, environment, technology usage, and development).
• During poster sessions, master students from Université Grenoble Alpes et Université Savoie Mont-Blanc presented their research work.
• In a round table session, various topics related to expectations as an early-stage researcher and imposter syndrome were discussed.
• To make psychology more accessible to the general public, we invited an early-stage researcher, Adrien Fillon, to present his contributions in psychological research in the form of a live action scientific presentation. The talk, entitled: “De l’expérience de Stanford à la dissonance cognitive: Histoires de mythes scientifiques”, included two actresses Alice Batie and Nonon Gascoin Portier, who provided live interpretations of several of the scientific myths to accompany the main presentation.

This year again, our event was received with great enthusiasm by both the scientific community, the master students and the general public. We thank our partners for supporting us in this project!"
